Veronica West

Hi, my name is Veronica West. I graduated from Delaware State University with a Masters in social work. I am currently an LMSW. My concentrated area is children and families. I have 25 years of experience in the field, having worked for foster care and DFS. I also have experience in medical social work using social work practices with dialysis patients dealing with depression and sleep and stress disorders. While working with foster care, I dealt with separation anxiety, attachment issues, and placement issues while counseling the families and children involved including other behavioral health issues. I also have experience in couples counseling in addition to individual, family, and group counseling. I utilize a cognitive behavioral approach using various behavioral theories to bring about positive change.
